Schneider Electric has an open opportunity for the role of Global Services Commercial Marketing Leader.
Global Services are expected to grow twice as fast as the rest of the company. A critical enabler of supporting and accelerating this growth is robust marketing strategy & operations. As a Leader in Global Services Commercial Marketing, you will have a unique & exciting opportunity to drive high quality pipeline growth by systematically identifying & amplifying the direct demand generation levers and taking actions (e.g., value proposition, positioning, campaigns etc.) to drive growth at global level. Additionally, you need track and assess the existing pipeline health (e.g., geo x segments x business types), diagnose or anticipate issues, and plan corrective actions.
The role reports directly to Vice-President of Global Services Commercial Strategy & Marketing
Main Responsibilities include:
- Acts as a program lead for marketing strategy & operations projects
- Conduct weighted pipeline analysis
- Assess overall health (geo x business types x segments)
- Identify and/or anticipate key challenges affecting pipeline growth
- Assess sales coverage by geos
- Work with countries to address the issues / develop demand gen turnaround plans
- Drive demand gen through direct marketing levers
- Develop value prop for sales teams to leverage; adapt based on types of customers, segments (e.g., data centers, power & grid etc.), and channel partners (i.e., distributors, solution providers)
- Increase demand gen through existing levers (e.g., through field service teams, customer care centers, customer success managers etc.)
- Identify additional levers to leverage for demand generation
- Develop and execute on clear demand gen plans
- Design and execute marketing campaigns
- Refine / define value propositions (end users x partners)
- Adapt based on customer types, personas, segments, partner types
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., process experts, pricing) to implement maximize demand generation; deliver plans within agreed timelines
- Performance tracking
- Clearly track the impact of various demand gen levers on the weighted pipe
- Add right checks and balances to ensure the quality of the pipe
- Ensure the weighted pipe grows faster than order & sales growth ambitions
- Coach and develop younger team members
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Strong understanding of SE business (end user, partners); knowledge of Services preferred
- Important to be result driven, proactive in approach, and takes ownership to drive projects to completion
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of direct marketing experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing plans / campaigns
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies and tactics
- Excellent communication, project management and analytical skills
- Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with email marketing, social media and mobile marketing
- Strong analytical skills: ability to screen and quickly absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Open-mindedness, actively listens to others, understands and values others' views
- Ability to connect with people easily, to win buy-in for proposed recommendations
- High level of maturity: ability to liaise with counterparts from different parts of the organization, including senior executives
- International, multi-cultural mind-set and approach
- Driven, self-starter with ability to execute in a fast-paced & constantly evolving global environment
