JOB SUMMARY: This position is a Realty Officer, GS-1170-14, working in Falls Church, Virginia, for the R9-Division of Realty. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Realty Officer your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Participates with the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS) leadership team in interpreting and implementing legislation and legal decisions and assessing their impact on NWRS Realty program. Reviews, formulates, and influences the establishment of plans, programs, and procedures of national scope. Develops position papers, prepares reports, presents briefings, and reviews and edits summaries of plans and accomplishments for the Directorate. Provides information at meetings and conferences at the State, Regional, and National level. Serves as a real estate expert consultant to the NWRS leadership team and Directorate and immediate staff by directing and coordinating overall operations of the total Realty function necessary to accomplish National goals and objectives.
