JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Yosemite National Park, in the Interpretation & Education Division. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately mid-December - late-November, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year. MAJOR DUTIES: Plan and implement the visual aspects of print publications. Recommend passages to be illustrated, selected illustrative material to be used, and plan the appearance of each page. Assist in development of exhibits and work directly with contractors to coordinate creation, production, and installation of media products. Work with park staff to maintain and develop digital media. Using interpretive principles, plan the technical details of visual products that convey interpretive themes to a varied audience.
