EnSafe is accepting applications for an entry-level Senior Environmental Project Manager position in its Hartford, CT, office.

What We Are Looking For
As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will work on various projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Project management, including proposal writing, budget tracking, and client communications
- Collaborate with senior leadership to advance local, regional, and corporate goals
- Prepare documents under state and federal programs, including the CT Property Transfer Program
- Prepare and review technical reports and work plans
- Review, compile, and interpret investigation data, evaluations of potential responses /corrective actions, and feasibility studies
- Mentor mid and junior-level staff
- Assist with regional business development/proposal efforts
Qualifications:
- BS in engineering, geology, or appropriate technical discipline
- Demonstrable leadership experience (e.g. office, teams, large projects)
- CT LEP; or CT LEP Track and PE or PG
- Knowledge of CT RSRs, CERCLA, RCRA, NYSDEC DER-10, and other environmental legislation
- Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
- Strong consulting, problem-solving and leadership skills
- State, municipal, and federal contracts/project management
- Experience conducting work within the NE regional states
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel 30% regionally
