The Sr. Sourcing Manager - Sustainability is responsible for leading GE Gas Power Sourcing’s sustainability program in support of and aligned to GE Vernova’s overall Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. This role will execute Sourcing’s sustainability initiatives and projects to include internal and external reporting and benchmarking with GE Vernova’s Sourcing to peers, regulations, and standards. This role serves as Gas Power Sourcing’s sustainability and ESG subject matter expert with internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for building internal consensus on the overall sustainability Sourcing strategy

Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement Sourcing sustainability program management strategies in support of and aligned to GE Vernova’s overall sustainability and ESG strategies (decarbonization of supply chain, regulatory compliance for CBAM, PFAS phase out, Conflict Minerals, Human Rights, etc.)
Collaborate with Gas Power’s Sr. Manager for Sourcing Compliance & Risk Management to work with GE Vernova Power segment and Gas Power leaders of ESG, EHS, Compliance, and other functional stakeholders to identify roles and responsibilities, standardize processes and tools, and to drive synergies across Gas Power Sourcing organization.
Drive implementation of standard work related to supplier sustainability requirements to include collaboration with relevant Gas Power functions – Product Management, Engineering, EHS, Finance, Supply Chain, DT and Legal.
Develop and integrate relevant environment & decarbonization metrics and targets for Gas Power Sourcing within the GE Vernova Sourcing framework aligned to the overall GE Vernova sustainability and ESG deliverables. Collaborate with Logistics/Customs to drive CBAM data collection and reporting processes to comply with regulatory requirements.
Develop and integrate relevant PFAS elimination metrics and targets within the GE Vernova Sourcing framework aligned to the overall GE Vernova PFAS phase out plans and replacement strategies.
Support deployment of category and sub-category GE Vernova Sourcing strategies and plans for decarbonization (CBAM data capture and reporting), PFAS phase out, Human Rights regulatory compliance and associated supplier programs in collaboration with commodity leaders and key internal stakeholders.
Engage with Gas Power suppliers to implement sustainability and ESG strategies to include performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
Through collaboration with Sourcing and Materials Management teams, engage with Gas Power suppliers to implement sustainability and ESG strategies to include performance monitoring and continuous improvement which include the development and execution plans to reduce Scope 3 emissions in alignment with sustainability targets.
Serve as Gas Power Sourcing’s subject-matter-expert for sustainability and ESG.
Lead continuous evolution of necessary tools and policies with focus on decarbonization (CBAM), PFAS phase out and related programs in the Gas Power Sourcing process with relevant stakeholders.
Develop and educate internal and external Gas Power stakeholders and suppliers on sustainability policies and procedures and how they relate to GE Vernova Sourcing activities.
Research, filter, warehouse, and communicate key emerging information and trends relating to global sourcing sustainability initiatives such as climate change policy, corporate sustainability programs, and other relevant regulatory areas.
Coordinate with Gas Power Sourcing commodity management teams to ensure consistent supplier sustainability-related topics.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in driving sourcing and supply chain sustainability, ESG, and climate change agenda in a global organization.
Experience in project management, sustainability, sourcing, logistics and supply chain, environmental management, communications in a complex matrix business environment.
Experience in driving transformational change programs and ability to translate strategic insights into tangible and actionable plans.

The base pay range for this position is $125K-$145K USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/30/2024, or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
