What You'll Be Doing
As a Test Environment Analyst, you will play a critical role in the quality assurance process by managing and maintaining test environments for software applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Environment Setup and Configuration: Establish and configure test environments that accurately replicate production settings, ensuring all necessary components (hardware, software, and network configurations) are in place.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain test environments to ensure they are operational, secure, and optimized for testing activities. This includes performing routine checks and updates to software and hardware components.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to test environments, including configuration errors, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks. Work closely with development teams to log and track defects identified during testing.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test environment configurations, processes, and any issues encountered during testing. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of test environments and testing progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in test environment management and testing practices. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and methodologies, sharing knowledge with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.

- Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing processes, and environment configuration. Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies is essential.

Who You Are
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality assurance and software testing. You possess:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in test environment management or a related role, preferably in a software development or quality assurance environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestRail) and a solid understanding of Salesforce, Azure DevOps or other cloud-based applications is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and approach problems methodically.
- Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to delivering high-quality results and a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes and outcomes.
