Company Description
Deloitte is a leading global provider of Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, and Consultative Services. With more than 457,000 professionals in over 150 countries, we help our clients and society to solve complex problems and achieve ambitious goals. We are driven by one purpose: to make an impact that matters. To us, this means lasting results for our clients and their businesses, ideas and actions that contribute to a greater good. It also means empowering our people and supporting them in their growth journey.
Job Description
Over the last couple of years Deloitte’s services within financial and sustainability reporting experienced significant growth and we continue to see even stronger demand for our services going forward, including assurance of sustainability reports and expectations to understand the connection between how sustainability and climate-related issues affect the "traditional" financial reporting.
We are looking for managers and senior managers for our sustainability reporting advisory and assurance team with a clear focus on:
- Develop cutting-edge competencies in sustainability reporting and assurance of sustainability reports
- Actively participate in the development of our service offering together with the Deloitte A&A sustainability reporting management team
- Deliver first class services on sustainability reporting to our clients
Regardless of your position, you will have a central role in developing our sustainability reporting services. You will work closely with Deloitte teams across all the Deloitte functions. In your role, regardless of your level of experience, you are expected to actively contribute to driving the development of our sustainability assurance service offering. Therefore, it is valuable to have an interest in building networks with employees from other functions within Deloitte. The role also includes supporting and/or managing teams in providing assurance on sustainability reporting, but later on the role can become more or less focused on assurance depending on your preferences.
The assignments vary in scope in everything from shorter investigative assignments to longer and more coherent projects. We work both with advisory clients as well as perform assurance assignments for our audit clients. The portfolio varies from some of Sweden's largest companies such as AB Volvo and Ericsson to fast-growing smaller companies, for example on their journey to the Stock Exchange, as well as private companies falling in the scope of the CSRD.
A natural part of the role is participating in delivering trainings for both clients and Deloitte's employees and development of the department's structural capital (marketing material, newsletters and the like). The role may involve shorter trips, usually to Malmö and /or Gothenburg, but the scope of travel can be limited if necessary.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 5 years of experience working with sustainability reporting or accounting and external financial reporting or as an auditor from an audit firm or other company
- Interest in deepening your knowledge in sustainability reporting and especially ESRS
- Experience of auditing is a merit as you will support and work in teams providing assurance on sustainability reporting
- You collaborate well with your colleagues, and you like to help others develop and learn more, both technically and to build strong teams.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Deloitte is a multicultural organization where different backgrounds, experiences and skills of individual employees are considered as an asset.
