Sustainability Manager F&B - Your future role?
As a Sustainability Manager F&B, you will support the Head of Sustainability, Fragrance & Beauty in further translating Givaudan's sustainability agenda into plans for the Fragrance & Beauty Division. You will engage with F&B customers to bring Givaudan's corporate purpose to life and cement Givaudan's position as customer partner of choice and work in close collaboration with Fragrance and Beauty Divisional partners and under the guidance of the Sustainability Leadership Team while encouraging agreement and consistency with the Fragrance & beauty division, besides being a backup to Head of F&B Sustainability in her absence.
You will be based in Argenteuil, France (on-site, 1 day home office/week) and will report directly to the Head of Sustainability, Fragrance&Beauty.
You will:
Engage with Divisional Partners

Represent the Fragrance & Beauty Division within the Givaudan Sustainability strategy

Engage and collaborate with F&B Divisional partners on Sustainability topics, further promoting sustainability practices within the business and applying the contribution of Givaudan's Fragrance portfolio to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Act as an advisor to F&B Divisional partners in expressing sustainability within portfolio value propositions, such as environmental and societal claims

Contribute to the Corporate Sustainability agenda by providing outside-in thought leadership on Sustainability topics relevant to the Fragrance and Beauty Division and vice-versa
Translate Givaudan's sustainability agenda into F&B Divisional plans

Determine the translation of Givaudan's purpose and sustainability agenda into specific F&B Divisional Business plans with a clear roadmap

Lead the implementation of selected Sustainability projects in cooperation with the nominated team members across Divisions and Functions (i.e. Product and Ingredient Footprinting project implementation lead for F&B)

Help manage the the extended reach into the business (relays in organization, inputs/outputs of Governance bodies, …)
Engage with Customers

Collaborate with team members to respond to customer inquiries on Sustainability based on latest company positions and a forward-looking view of emerging trends and market needs. This includes creating responses that are customized (nonstandard responses) and validating these positions with partners in the Division and the Sustainability team.

Identify and lead the improvement of processes on customer inquiries

Guide customer teams in customer dialogues on sustainability
Contribute to audit, sustainability assurance process and communications

Prepare and collate Divisional information and evidence for corporate and internal reporting and act as an important contact for auditors

Contribute to and validate sustainability communications

Represent Givaudan in selected internal and external events
Your professional profiles include:
-
Master's degree, in technical field like engineering or sustainability studies.

5+ years of experience in a Global business environment- experience in area of Sustainability Strategy /Sustainability Product Innovation/Technical or other Corporate Social Responsibility.

Experience in the FMCG sector or chemicals/ ingredients sector

Fluent English, French language knowledge is a plus

Autonomous and comfortable with cross-functional set-ups, ambiguity
