The opportunity
As an Analyst, your analytical skills, interpersonal communication, commitment to impact and collaborative skills will be called upon from day one for our Social Impact Advisory team. Building positive relationships with clients and working closely with multiple teams in delivering solutions to enable high impact on the ground. They are required to solve problems using consulting frameworks and research for the projects. This includes both quantitative and qualitative rigor which is done by analyzing given data and gaining insights through interviews with stakeholders. It will ensure gaining a broad knowledge base that cuts across sectors and geographies while driving the core of every project’s work.
You will begin as a generalist and be placed in the thick of action, you’ll begin to specialize in one or more practice areas guided every step of the way by Sattva mentors and specific training programs you may need.
- Define the problem for the team to enable the development of the solution and recommendations to meet project goals and have an eye for detail to keep track of multiple workstreams
- Engage in discussions with internal team members, customers, community on the ground, other stakeholders like NGOs. Ask probing questions to gain an in-depth understanding of the situations, problems on the ground and execute programs to achieve the desired outcomes
- Communicate effectively with the client and key stakeholders in a timely manner to share regular updates, minutes, and progress. Work closely with the PMO to manage the project and ensure its KPIs are met and build a trusted relationship with partner organizations
- Understand client needs and respond to their questions and strengthen project governance and manage/ mitigate the risks.
- Implement/ support the implementation of projects on the ground and validate the hypotheses in different contexts to constantly refine the program strategy
- Document and prepare key project artefacts such as project plan, project governance decks, regular communication documents with clients and follow a detailed work plan and be diligent in internal and external governance
- Must be able to build a trusted relationship with partner organizations and take initiative and ownership to come up with ideas and solve for impactful execution
Key qualifications and experiences

We are setting up a new vertical looking at ESG and sustainability priorities across corporates, funds, DFIs and social businesses. This role will provide a high growth opportunity, exposure across all levels of leadership and will be instrumental in driving the next stage of growth. We are looking for individuals who align with our vision and have the following profile:
- 0-2 years of professional experience in consulting, project management, stakeholder management in corporate, social enterprises, consulting firms or investment and audit firms, development agencies (preferable)
- Passionate and driven towards creating long-term, sustainable social impact
- Candidates with an BBA/BMS/BBM/B.Com or any other relevant postgraduate degree in business management would be preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Strong data analysis skills. Knowledge in financial modeling and analysis is required. Must be comfortable with basic finance and have an affinity for numbers.
- An understanding of key sustainability topics (such as ESG, climate change, and circular business models)
- Self-driven entrepreneurial candidates who can work in ambiguous situations
- Prior experience in a client or customer-facing role and diverse stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel to remote locations as per the requirements of the project/ team
