JOB PURPOSE:
The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for the copy, messaging, voice, and audience engagement across all channels for the marketing team at BayWa r.e. Solar Systems and works closely with the marketing team to develop effective communication that aligns with company goals. This role creates, guides, edits, and executes the company’s approach to external content through emails, website, social media and information sharing through the use of copy, video, audio, and in-person speaking formats.
The Coordinator operates from a mindset of creativity to support company revenue goals, while aligning to the marketing team’s impactful initiatives of building awareness, guiding perception, providing opportunities, inspiring action, and developing trust and loyalty. The Marketing Communications Coordinator is also responsible for the team’s data gathering, analysis, and tracking of communication channels and helping the team reflect on our work so we can continuously strive for the next level of customer engagement.
This role works closely with other departments including but not limited to Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and People Experience. The Marketing Communications Coordinator reports to the Manager, Marketing.

- The total compensation range for this position is $63k - $68k. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Copywriting & Editing
- Drive our content marketing scheduling, keeping our team aligned through all marketing initiatives.
- Develop, write, and edit creative concepts and content for all marketing assets, both long and short including but not limited to website, email, graphics, and social.
- Collaborate with various departments on content to drive engagement that reaches company goals.
- Collaborate with marketing team on SEO development and optimization.
- Support strategy for video and podcast content development.
- Collaborate with team and company experts on the ideation and creation of video and audio content.
- Manage the high quality pre- and post-production process of all media content to meet brand standards.
Content Planning, Management and Publishing
- Assist in managing content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of materials and alignment with marketing campaigns.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Collaborate with team and company experts on the ideation and creation of video and video content.
- Own the management and organization of all assets to support team’s streamlined processes.
- Align content planning to company and department strategic goals through collaboration with marketing team and other departments.
- Lead sharing of appropriate content to internal stakeholders, inspiring action when necessary.

- Build email content in email platform (Eloqua).
- Build and create copy for blog post content.
- Understand and build the interconnection between marketing metrics and activities and translate into clear recommendations for the marketing team.
- Review and maintain regular content analytics reviews that bring insightful learnings to our team.
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage social media strategy in alignment with marketing department objectives.
- Manage and curate content for social media platforms, monitoring engagement and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Execute and optimize day-to-day social media activities to reach engagement goals.
- Report on and lead plans for enhancements on social media efforts, making a clear connection to ROI.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand communication.
- Able to maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environments with a forward-looking perspective.
- Quick learner with aptitude to self-teach new technical skills and become proficient in new software.
- Highly organized and results-oriented with a strong dedication to accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels and ability to apply it to everyday work.
- Creative designer with ability to branded build concepts and graphics that excite and communicate.
- Ability to plan, manage and execute multiple projects, while communicating with key stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in content marketing or related experience.
- Intermediate to advanced skill with content publishing and analytic software tools, including WordPress and Google Analytics.
- Intermediate level experience designing graphics, with a strong preference for use of Adobe programs.
- Experience in Eloqua, Power BI, and NetSuite experience a plus.
