An Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, plant equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
· Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment.
· Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant.
· Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
· Ensure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures.
· Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy
· Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies.
· Conduct other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
· Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment.
· Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics
· Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
· Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
· Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day shift or night shift
