Position Summary
The Battery Technician is a key position within Research & Development that assists in building test cells to guide decision-making. They will be responsible for approaching cell engineering and fabrication with a high level of detail and integrity. The ideal candidate would be extremely flexible, curious, resilient, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Build test batteries (coin, pouch and cylindrical formats) and measure/record assembly details and data
- Qualify, assemble and test electrodes and stacks
- Perform QC testing on incoming and engineered items
- Set up and take down mixing/coating runs
- Execute testing protocols on battery cells and assist in data workup
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum associate's degree in a technical field with a Bachelor’s preferred
- 0-3+ years of industrial experience in fabrication and testing of devices, preferably battery cells
- Ability to follow documented procedures
- Experience with hand tools
- Experienced with data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The pay range:
$ 29.18 (entry-level qualifications) to $36.39 (highly experienced) Hourly
This is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
