The reason for this role:
The Contracts Manager is accountable for managing the contractual and commercial activities which support the delivery of renewable energy projects in Australia and Asia/Pacific Regions.
What you will be doing?
- Contract administration and management.
- Manage the implementation of client and supply chain contracts during execution, including claims, variations, and contract deliverables.
- Establish or maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure contracts are executed strictly to accordance with company policies and procedures, standards, codes of conduct and legislative requirements.
- Project reporting.
What does your background look like?
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Contract law or related discipline.
- A background in the Wind, power or construction industry beneficial.
- Proven track record of executing a contract from Kick off to close out of contracts.
- Excellent commercial acumen with managing and negotiating with different stakeholders throughout the project i.e., transport, logistics, WTG Installation, equipment supply, client construction and operation contracts to name but a few.
- You will have strong relationship management experience – clients, contractors, service providers and government agencies.
- A solid background as a contracts manager or Quantity Surveyor working on projects in a remote region beneficial.
