JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as a Program Manager (Chief, Office of Public Trust) within the National Park Service and provides supervision and oversight of programs that entail the mission, functions, projects, activities, laws, rules, and regulations for which the National Park Service is authorized and funded by statute to administer and enforce. This is a fully remote position. This temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition. MAJOR DUTIES: The major duties of the Program Manager (Chief, Office of Public Trust) position include, but are not limited to, the following: Program management to provide information transparency for the National Park Service's law enforcement programs. Plans, organizes, and oversees the Service-wide Body Worn Camera and other law enforcement technology programs. Plans, organizes, an oversees all internal and external information requests related to law enforcement incidents including FOIA, Privacy Act, OIG, and oversight requests. Provides review and recommendations related to building and maintaining public trust in Service-wide law enforcement.
