About the role:
Location: Continental US
Fluence is seeking an Field Service Technician – Cooling Systems who will perform planned and unplanned maintenance on equipment related to the cooling systems of our battery storage products. They will be responsible for ensuring Fluence cooling systems operate efficiently, reliably and safely. This Field Service Technician will also be responsible for completing and updating documentation related to the work performed while on a project site using established systems, such as JIRA and SalesForce.
Key responsibilities:
• Prioritize the safety above all for his/her person as well as others around him/herself. .
• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance of HVAC/chiller components, including compressors, VFD’s, condensers, evaporators, control systems, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC’s, chillers or other cooling systems used for battery storage systems.
• Order parts as-needed to fix a piece of equipment or replenish spares stock.
• Provide reports on work completed, document new issues using Fluence internal systems and track time based on project location and type of task (preventative or reactive).
