Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Supply Chain Planning Intern at our Salisbury, North Carolina, facility for Spring 2025. This position will be in person so the ideal candidate will be located in or around the general area, relocation will not be provided.
This position could also be a Co-Op role depending on the candidates preference. A Co-Op allows a candidate to work a full 40 hours as they aren't actively taking courses during a semester but are actively enrolled in a academic program. Our Internships during the academic school year are only allowed to work a maximum of 17.5 hours.

What is in it for me?
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects and solutions dedicated to customer service and delivery
- Drive improvements through Industrial solutions in compliance with the Schneider Production System (SPS) lean principles and conform to safety standards
- Design and develop sustainable methods for calculating raw stock needs for dynamic production schedules
- Work closely with Production Schedulers and Purchasing on process improvement, troubleshooting, and root causing
- Lead or support Lean/Kaizen activities
- Hands on support for inventory disposition and mitigation
This job might be for you if:
- Are actively pursing a degree in Supply Chain, and Industrial Engineering
- Are proficient at the use of ERP or other computer systems and Microsoft Suite.
- Must be Proficient in Excel including charts/graphs (experience with Pivot tables, Macros a plus)
- Possess leadership qualities and the ability to facilitate conflicts
- Are self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency
- Have a solid work ethic - honors responsibility and commitment
- Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language)
