Position Overview
As the Senior Analyst, Project Controls Cost & Scheduling, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, provide monthly financial reporting, and support Project Management during construction phases for our onshore renewable projects. The Senior Analyst role will be heavily focused on collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain an accurate project cost forecast, facilitate procurement processes, and produce budgetary status reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze the project’s latest Estimate at Completion cost forecast, reconcile project expenditures, and lead monthly budget management reviews.
- Perform monthly project cost and variance analysis reporting to the team and management’s review to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
- Monitor and proactively identify financial risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to ensure the project is executed within budget.
- Manage project financial activity of purchasing processes including setting up new suppliers, creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, invoicing, and ensure timely payment distributions in Oracle Fusion.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, as directed by management
- Analyze and maintain project schedules to correlate scope changes with project cost impacts.

- Earned Value Analysis and scheduling experience preferred
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or relevant certifications preferred
- Experience with project coordination and management of projects with multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and other stakeholders preferred
- Willingness to spend time on an active construction site.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
