We are seeking a passionate and experienced Climate Change Associate to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. You’ll be working with a leading engineering firm to make a positive impact on climate change.
About the Role:
- Drive climate change business development and sales
- Manage complex climate change projects
- Develop climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies
- Conduct climate finance assessments and develop strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement climate action
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, development finance, environmental management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in climate change practice or consulting
- Expertise in at least two of the following areas: climate finance, GHG emissions, climate risk and adaptation
- Proven experience in business development and client management
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and mathematical equations
