As Director,Environmental Compliance you will be responsible forassisting with aspects of the company’s environmental initiatives including working alongside third party vendors and environmental counsel to achieve company objectives. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Environmental Diligence and Compliance Manager.
Oversee field investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, vapor intrusion assessments, and asbestos surveys, as needed.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental issues throughout the due diligence process, including regulatory compliance, remediation requirements, and potential impacts on project timelines and costs.
Investigate and respond to environmental incidents, complaints, and enforcement actions, and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, including but not limited to, NEPA, CERCLA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and RCRA.
