About the role
JBS&G is looking for a Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene/LAA Consultant to join our Occupational Hygiene and Monitoring team in Sydney. You will be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with clients across a range of projects both nationally and locally.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Perform asbestos and hazardous materials surveys and risk assessments
- Occupational hygiene sampling, assessment, supervision and management
- Provide expert hazardous materials, hygiene and WHS advice
- Prepare comprehensive hazardous materials and occupational hygiene reports
- Develop relationships and collaborate with clients and other stakeholders
- Support end-to-end management of projects
About you
- Ideally 3-6 years of experience in Occupational Hygiene or similar a similar industry
- Tertiary qualifications in occupational hygiene, environmental science/engineering, or a related degree
- Currently hold or willing to obtain SafeWork NSW Asbestos Assessor Licence (LAA)
- Current unrestricted Australian driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
