We're looking for you
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Head of Strategy and Sustainability for the Industrial Print Division, to define and drive the short and long-term strategic planning. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our division by identifying new profit opportunities, joint ventures, M&As, strategic alliances, and other growth accelerators. The successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of market trends and cross-industrial technologies to craft segment-specific strategies that position us as a key contributor to HP's future success.
The Global Head of Strategy will establish a center of excellence, leading an independent team dedicated to finding synergies across our Industrial businesses, exploring new business opportunities, and defining a multi-billion-dollar vision for the division (to grow the business 2X). This role is built on two core pillars: driving pure strategy and leading intelligent analytics and planning, including budget management and long-term planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy:
Support Industrial Print Leadership with vision, insights, critical thinking, and strategic frameworks to develop ambitious yet executable Business Strategies.
Develop a strategic plan for accelerated growth in current and new profit pools.
Accelerate transformation to deliver short-term profit objectives while driving long-term growth.
Present strategic recommendations to GMs/VPs/President on an ongoing basis and influence decision-making on critical business challenges.
Define strategy and execution plan to expand Industrial Print beyond traditional HW and Supplies profit pools.
Continue to explore M&A and Strategic Partnership alternatives for inorganic parts of the growth plan (current & new profit pools).
Create the content on strategy and portfolio to be shared with external industry analysts and security analysts.
Ensure successful strategic plan execution.
Drive strategic alignment across GBUs, Regions, and Functions.
Shape investment prioritization and portfolio optimization.
Lead/support new strategic initiatives across GBU, Region, and Function.
Support the "Executive enablement" team on all executive presentation content, structure, and communication: BoD, ELT reviews, SAM, QBR, and QBW.
Lead and participate in the LTP exercise, especially on key strategic questions, narratives, and vision.
Support strategic initiatives across GBU, Sales, Regions, and Functions. Work with "executive enablement" for the execution.
Sustainability:
Advance our Sustainability Impact plan that encompasses key initiatives around, Implement CO2 reduction and circularity programs and develop regeneration plans for Forest and Water resources
Work in close collaboration with the Sustainability teams in Indigo, Pagewide, and Services businesses, orchestrating the overall plan and driving regular Sustainability reviews with Industrial Print leadership.
Launch and scale the new Amplify Impact program for PSPs
Work in close collaboration with our People organization to advance our Diversity and Inclusion agenda
Leadership and Team Development:
Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the product team, promoting continuous learning and development, particularly in emerging technologies and methodologies.
Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive the product strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in management consulting,
Proven experience in developing and execution of short and long-term strategies, within a global and complex organizational structure.
Strategic thinker and change agent, with strong teamwork and execution skills to drive the vision inside the organization and lead the change.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups.
Solid financial acumen and analytical skills.
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. A relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

The base pay range for this Senior Director level role is $164K to $263K annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
