Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opening for a Buyer - Sustainable Energy to join our esteemed client's team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of sourcing and procuring sustainable energy products and services, playing a crucial part in the transition to greener energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on sustainable energy projects.
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers of renewable energy materials and equipment.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure compliance with sustainability criteria.
- Manage purchase orders and maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics related to renewable energy sourcing.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine project needs and specifications.
- Foster long-term relationships with suppliers and stakeholders in the sustainable energy sector.
- Conduct performance reviews of suppliers and assess opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable energy technologies and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
