Our partner in the environmental consulting industry is looking to add an experienced Sr. Environmental Project Manager to their team to help support project leadership.
Location:Hybrid, Lisle, IL
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm with some outside hours required
Salary:$65,000-$75,000

TheSenior Environmental Project Manager will support projects for subsurface investigations and remediation, as well as support environmental site assessments. The successful candidate should possess a diverse investigation and remediation background, significant due diligence knowledge, and experience consulting/executing projects. Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete Phase I ESA Peer Reviews
- Management Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Implement technical requirements by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test and collect data, as well as document site activities.
- Schedule projects and allocate work to field staff.
- Manage program sites for IEPA LUST and SRP.
- Serve as a technical lead on all projects.
- Work with senior staff to scope, cost, plan and execute due diligence and associated assessments, multi-media site and remedial investigations, and all other remediation projects (may include hydrogeologic assessments, chemical and hydrogeological data evaluation, data visualization, regulatory agency interactions and reporting).
- Evaluate complex laboratory and field data and assemble written reports.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards on all projects.
- Develop written proposals to clients for both small and large projects and complete quality review of proposals written by others.
- Meet client budget and schedule needs.
- Follow and promote safety rules, guidelines and standards on all projects. Participate in pre-task planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Attend on and off-site client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or similar field
- 4+ years relevant environmental project manager experience
- OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, and able to multitask and work effectively as a team player
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Project Management and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 1-3 days depending on project requirements.
