DescriptionEram Talent is actively seeking an Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Manager to join our client in Tabuk Region .
Enhance and improve existing environmental management system for Assessment and Permitting Team, develop new standards, procedures, environmental management plans and conduct data analysis of Company Environmental performance that will be used to drive improvement.
RequirementsThe Environmental Management Systems Manager brings a collaborative approach and demonstrates excellent project management skills, a growing reputation as a subject matter expert and problem solver, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability and desire to resolve complex problems. The role requires the following in people management skills:
Ability to build and manage a highly efficient and professional team.
Actively instill and maintain a high-performance culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
·Manage and provide technical input to employees or projects, where necessary.
Provide leadership to advance programs, practices, and performance.
Set employee performance objectives, provide necessary support, appraise staff and provide regular feedback on performance. The role has two direct reports and a number of contractors.
The ideal candidate fits the below profile:
·Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Horticulture, Botany Environmental Biology or related sciences.
·Minimum 10 years experience across environmental management for Major Capital Projects.
Experience with the implementation of IFC Performance Standards.
Strong team-building and management. Strong facilitation and organization skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient fluency in English is essential.
