Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for all delivery aspects of the project scope (planning and coordination) ensuring the maximum allocation of resources and that effective controls and procedures are in place.
As a leader of this team, it is required to create an environment of exceptional team performance, ensure team roles, skills and behavior are aligned with the Project's objectives and requirements.
What you will need to do:
• Monitor, supervise and ensure the compliance with the construction and other related contracts of the project and advices to the Project Manager accordingly
• Monitor and identify all contractual and law related matters occurring at project level
• Prepare and handle all contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to the Project execution and the construction contract
• Ensure compliance to contractual obligations towards the Client during project execution and reports to the Project Manager
• Monitor and identify all contractual and law related matters occurring at project level and refers same to the Project Manager and, if required, to the Contracts Manager for assistance or further processing
• Refer any deviation from standard forms of documents, agreements or contracts to the Project Manager.
• Prepare specific Contracts and other legal documents with Third Parties based on standard templates.
• Review proposals from suppliers/subcontractors and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications from contractual point of view
• Analyse and manage business conflicts between the company and the Client or any Third Party and submits proposals to Project Manager
Qualifications
• BΑ in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or in law.
• Experience on mega infrastructure projects including tunneling, bridges, rail, etc.
• Experienced in working in a tri-partite Joint Venture structure in a fully integrated project team
• Strong contractual analytical skills
• Abιility to manage complex contractual clarifications
• Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills
• Displays active listening skills and ability to build rapport easily
• Can prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment with ability to present new problem-solving ideas
• Is unfailingly diplomatic in a complex environment and matrix organization
• Demonstrates extreme attention to detail
• Enjoys challenge, working with different cultures and travelling
• Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language) and Arabic will be beneficial.
• Previous construction Site experience in UAE and KSA leading multidisciplinary projects.
• Sub-contractor experience would be a definite asset.
