Our Water + Environment Market has an opening for an ambitious, senior-level modeler with experience working on projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects. Our team of project professionals will provide you with support and flexibility, allowing you to produce high-quality work while maintaining a work-life balance. Our projects are engaging, challenging, and have a significant impact on the communities we serve. Come join us!
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project managers, project engineers, and other team members focusing on collection system modeling to support the design of conveyance infrastructure.
- Projects may include:
- Water distribution systems - including hydraulic modeling, master planning, pumping and storage evaluations, water quality evaluations, and water loss studies.
- Wastewater collection systems - including hydraulic modeling, master planning, rainfall-derived infiltration, inflow analyses, and lift station evaluations.
- Water supply and integrated master planning - including evaluations of surface water supplies, groundwater supplies, reuse, and water rights.
- Water distribution and wastewater collection system asset management - including condition assessment, sanitary sewer evaluation studies, and capital planning.
- Conveyance systems - including wire-to-water analysis, pumping optimization, transient analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and management of physical modeling projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other related field required.
- 10+ years of related experience modeling water/wastewater collection and treatment facilities and distribution systems.
