Metallus Internship Program

Internship Assignment: Full-Time - Summer 2025
- Assist the environmental compliance team with regular inspections and audits
- Shadow experienced environmental managers during routine processes and emergency responses
- Participate in the A to Z of environmental compliance with opportunities to witness how steel manufacturing and environmental sustainability converge
- Participate in data management and reporting for air, water, waste, stewardship, and sustainability metrics
- Participate in biodiversity assessments, GHG emissions reduction planning, and more
Internship Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2025 semester
- Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
- Preferred majors: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Geology, or related
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Task management and organizational skills
