Who are we looking for?
Our Environmental business group is looking for an Environmental Scientist to join their Natural Resources team! As a graduate with this group, you will be engaged with projects that involve wetland delineations/assessments & permitting, endangered species surveys, water quality assessments, and ecological & environmental studies. These projects support ecological risk assessments, site characterization and remedial action projects on contaminated sites.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Wetland delineation
- Field surveys for rare, threatened or endangered flora and fauna and their habitats
- Ecological assessments to classify and map habitat cover types and plant communities
- Surface water quality monitoring and sampling
- Sediment sampling
- Macroinverterate surveys / sampling
- Fish, reptile and amphibian surveys
- Managing and evaluating chemical and biological data
- Evaluating and understanding environmental regulations
- Preparing work plans, reports and other written communications
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Biology, Ecology or related field of study
- 0-2 years of experience conducting wetland delineations and ecological field studies
- Proficiency with managing and evaluating chemical and biological data using spreadsheets or database software
- Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) applications software
- Must be physically able to conduct strenuous field studies under field conditions that coincide with survey requirements
- Able and willing to travel to job sites as necessary
