Are you a passionate student eager to make an impact on the world through sustainability? OceanaGold is excited to offer two Sustainability Internships at our South Brisbane office this summer. These internships are perfect for students looking to gain real-world experience and contribute to key sustainability projects and initiatives that drive our company’s mission forward.
Opportunity 1: Sustainability Reporting and Governance:
Work alongside our Sustainability Manager on high-impact tasks such as corporate reporting, preparation of mandatory reports, and governance activities. You’ll also get involved in benchmarking our performance against industry standards.
Opportunity 2: Social Performance and Human Rights
Focus on Human Rights by reviewing and refining our standards for social performance, sustainability, and Health, Safety, and Environment. You’ll help map out critical changes and benchmark industry practices.
If you are in heading into your 4th year in 2025 and studying Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a similar field, and are motivated, collaborative, and passionate about sustainability, this role is for you.
