We work in partnership with a wide range of customers from sectors including automation, plant and tool hire, facility management, retail, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, the public sector and much more. Job Purpose
Providing a national service, collecting waste oil from various customers ranging from family run independent automotive garages to national organisations, whilst promoting the Slicker workplace values. We are Smart, Honest and Reliable, working Together whilst having Fun.
Main Tasks and responsibilities
- HGV Tanker Driver – Class 2
- Collecting waste oil as allocated from Transport Office
- Dealing with the public/customers
- Use of tablet to complete jobs and generate electronic notes
- Daily walk round/defect reporting required
- Adhering to company Health & Safety policy and procedures
- Representing the company in a professional manner.

Role requirements
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation (e.g. Driver hours, roadworthiness, etc)
- Candidates must be flexible, prepared to do nights out as/when required
- Logical thinking and problem solving abilities, in order to deal with issues that may be encountered on site/whilst travelling between sites.
- Able to engage with clients and demonstrate a positive approach to customer service
- Demonstrate the ability to achieve set daily/weekly objectives
- Maintain resilience in a demanding role
- Be a reliable team worker
Licences / Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2/ Cat C
- Tachograph card
- Up to date CPC
- Experience of tanker work preferred
- ADR is preferred but not essential
