Role and Responsibilities
System Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by optimizing processes, equipment performance, and system functionality.
- Developed and implemented new processes and procedures to improve productivity.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all scans, analysis and repairs, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Create and maintain an instruction of the inspection and analysis.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with production, quality and IT teams to coordinate and implement technical solutions and upgrades.
Incident Response:
- Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Auditing:
- Conduct a random audit for the analysis and ensure a same level of disposition across a plant.
Leadership
- Manage a team of 25+ employees in Operational Quality role.
Communication
- Communicate job expectations and responsibilities, while supervising, disciplining, managing and overseeing employees and work systems.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitored team performance and identified areas for improvement.
- Prepares reports for senior level management to help track their team’s progress.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical support or process or engineering role within a wind manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Wind Manufacturing Process. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed to support operations.
