Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.
Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Role Summary:
Lead Engineers will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable professionals. Throughout the Engineering of the Project up to startup and operation They will:
- report to the project Engineering Manager
- coordinate overall engineering execution in collaboration with other Engineering Discipline Leads
- be responsible for the engineering efforts of the disciplines they are leading and the timely completion of works in their field of expertise
- manage and guide their (discipline) teams, and oversee the pertinent engineering activities of external designers and consultants
- interact with their counterparts on Client’s (ADNOC) side
- review Engineering works in their field of expertise.
What you will need to have:
- BE or equivalent in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in your respective engineering discipline - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience related to Oil & Gas Projects and detailed engineering experience in the field of expertise
- Technical competence in basic & detailed engineering with strong technical background, and advanced analytical skills in basic and detailed engineering design from project feasibility stage to plant commissioning and startup
- Previous exposure to international environment
- Experience using relevant commercial software applicable to Oil & Gas projects
- In depth knowledge of international codes & standards, international design guidelines & recommendations
- Experience in Environmental regulatory requirements (local, international), review and understanding of local Environmental Laws would be a definite advantage
- Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
