Senior CCS/UIC Professional – Open
Trihydro is seeking an experienced, senior-level professional to expand our carbon capture sequestration (CCS), and underground injection control (UIC) program. We are actively involved in multiple CCS and UIC projects across the US. Our ideal candidate will be an engineering, geologic, and/or UIC subject matter expert. They will help assist with the technical work within the CCS/UIC program, but just as importantly will also play an important role in shaping the future growth and development of this program to help achieve its full potential for our clients, company, and the program team. Trihydro is one of the top environmental engineering consulting firms in the country, and this position in the CCS/UIC program will complement our existing multi-disciplinary services.
Role Overview
Primary responsibilities include project management and technical support for: (1) Class I and VI UIC well design, permitting, and drilling oversight projects; (2) ongoing Class VI UIC projects; (3) active assistance in business development and continued growth of the CCS/UIC program and its professional team; (4) project feasibility and project development assessment; and (5) other technical, business development, and marketing support, as needed. The position involves a mix of field and office responsibilities as well as travel to various project locations across the U.S.
The location for this position can be flexible. Our ideal location would be in or within close proximity to one of our offices in Laramie, WY; Lakewood, CO; Austin, TX; or Cincinnati, OH. Because the role involves travel however, candidates should at a minimum be based near an airport that allows for convenient flights. Preferred locations include CO, OK, TX, OH, CA, WY.
Required Qualifications
Our team is looking for a dynamic difference maker who has:

A BS in civil/environmental engineering, geology, or chemical/petroleum engineering (MS or MBA desirable, but not required)

15+ years of relevant CCS/UIC and/or oil and gas experience

Industry employment history as a project manager with responsibility for managing staff and contractors, communicating directly with clients and regulatory agency staff, preparing cost estimates, and tracking budgets

Experienced client manager

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, project stakeholders, regulators/agency staff, coworkers, subcontractors, and other project team members

Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating long-standing relationships

Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $100,000 – $150,000
