As the System Test Lab planner, you will be responsible for:
- Lab infrastructure planning: working with the Sr. Mgr, Safety and Construction, and Lab Program Mgr to determine new and existing equipment and product is installed
- Acting Subject Matter Expert in the capabilities of the lab and its equipment
- Writing up lab procedures
- Setting up and scheduling preventative maintenance of all equipment on-site including planning scheduled shutdowns and 3rd party involvement to successfully maintain manufacturer warranty and improve overall availability of the lab facility
- Handle coordination of 3rd party testing facilities as needed to accommodate program testing needs
- Designing the instruction and training programs to establish electrically qualified persons
- Lead/participate in discussions with RIDC (Landlord) about expansion of System Test Lab
- Engage with operations and services teams to determine secondary usage for outdated or unused lab equipment
- Travel to the System Test Lab in Mt. Pleasant, PA one week out of every month

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence? - Knowledge of inverter and battery technology, electrical machines, control and control technology as well as basic knowledge of CAD.
- Technical knowledge in broad area of engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, Test/Validation)
- Highly organized and ability to coordinate delivery of equipment with installation to meet deadlines
- Experienced in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
