JOB SUMMARY: This position is part of the Office of Science - Argonne Site Office, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory General Engineer/Physical Scientist, you will be serving as the Deputy Site Office Manager sharing the direction of all phases of the organization's program and work of Argonne Site Office (ASO), as well as providing planning, direction, and coordination of technical and administrative programs, and services for the site office and contractor personnel. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory General Engineer/Physical Scientist, you will: Manage the planning, organizing, staffing, executing, and controlling of the Argonne Site Office's (ASO) operations. Provide management and oversight of technical, business, and administrative services. Provide administration of a management and operating (M&O) performance-based contract of a large, multi-program national laboratory. Establish effective working relationships internally and externally. Plan subordinates 'workload, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
