The Industrial Engineer Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for an Industrial Engineering Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating industrial engineering activities within our organization. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure efficient work processes through accurate work measurement, utilizing master standard data. The Industrial Engineering Supervisor will play a key role in optimizing productivity, reducing costs, and improving overall operational performance.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement work measurement systems using master standard data to establish accurate time standards for various tasks and operations
- Conduct time and motion studies, gathering data and analyzing work processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimal work methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service, engineering, and supply chain, to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement
- Evaluate existing work processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity
- Collaborate with production planning teams to establish production targets, taking into account the accurate time standards determined through work measurement
- Train and educate employees on new work methods, tools, and processes to drive adoption and ensure effective implementation
- Collaborate with the process improvement team to identify and implement lean methodologies to further enhance operational efficiency and service
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 2+ years’ work measurement experience
- 1+ years lean experience
- Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer or in a similar role, preferably with a focus on work measurement and standardization
- Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, work measurement techniques, and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in energy industry a plus (solar, wholesale or retail electricity)
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload to meet required deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team in a matrix environment
Physical Requirements- Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
- Schedule needs are flexible with business needs, occasionally requiring weekend and/or travel
