Job Description
This position will be responsible for many of the Financial Operations’ administration activities related to cash control, internal controls support, records management and other support functions within the Office of the CFO. This position will also provide backup for electronic processing and auditing of Purchase Card (PCard) transactions. This position will report to the Compliance Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cash receipt tracking, researching and reporting.
- Depositing of checks utilizing Onsite Electronic Deposit banking product.
- Taking deposits to the physical location of the bank as needed.
- Processing bank transfers, check run review and troubleshooting.
- Records management duties will include some document scanning, organizing hard copy and electronic records for documentation.
- Process and submit requests for payments for open bank transaction files.
- Work with PCard holders as needed regarding policies and procedures.
- Daily processing of mail.
- Overall process compliance functions.
- Maintaining inventories of computers and assisting with onboarding of new Financial Operations employees.
- Support administrative needs of multiple groups in the Financial Operations group.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned to support Financial Operations department.
Basic Qualifications
Specialist III - High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Associate's Degree or certification program of comparable scope and 2 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.
Specialist II - High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Associate's Degree or certification program of comparable scope.

- Full knowledge of specialized focused business support functions.
- Fully competent in applicable software packages and office equipment.
- Demonstrated project administration skills.

- Sensitivity to confidential data as it relates to activities within the OCFO.
Specialist II -
- General knowledge of specialized focused business support functions.
- Proficient in applicable software packages and office equipment.
- Demonstrated project administration skills.
- Familiar with specific principles, procedures and practices related to supported fields and disciplines.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, team and interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity to confidential data as it relates to activities within the OCFO.
Preferred Qualifications
