Join Schneider Electric in Huntington, IN, and take charge of Methods & Maintenance functions, this peron will lead the Order Engineering group, drive continuous improvement, and optimize costs for this facility.
What will you do?
- Oversee all aspects of the Methods & Maintenance functions
- Collaborate with SE central teams, specifically the Facility Management group
- Manage the Order Engineering group and material productivity
- Exercise hierarchical responsibilities and people management
- Ensure performance of industrial processes and manage service methods/maintenance
- Manage team according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle events of the plant
- Responsible for people management, including goal setting, performance management, and competency development
- Manage Product & Process SPS techniques and maintainability of production equipment
- Drive continuous improvement concerning line architectures, capacities, and time referential
- Identify potentials for medium and long-term improvements in all areas
- Manage retrofit and renewal of production equipment with Industrial Deployment Team support
- Optimize DVC & MBC costs and support cross-functional teams within the facility
Who will you report to? Plant Manager
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in ME, IE, EE, or similar field is required, Master's degree is a plus.
- + 5 years of experience in engineering & maintenance.
- Management and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience in Facility Management.
