MAJOR DUTIES: This position supervises the Asset Management Branch within the Facility Management Division of Grand Teton National Park. The Asset Management Branch is responsible for database management and reporting from a variety of real property systems including the NPS Facility Management Software System (FMSS). The incumbent collects and reviews data from a variety of sources to calculate utility rates for concession operations and to report on facility utility demands. This position also manages day to day management of the park's vehicle fleet, including inventory and administration of the short-term rental program. Additionally, the incumbent supports park operations with small scale facility project scoping, cost estimation and project management - to include contract oversight. This position directly supervises one remote Facility Services Assistant as well as the park's Recycling & Custodial program of thirteen employees. Duties for this position include: Responsible for development and implementation of projects, and development of alternatives for facility systems when infrastructure capabilities cannot support mission requirements. Recruits and recommends selection of employees. Executes established work plans; Establishes work schedules and priorities. Develops and monitors schedules & budgets for facility operations. Responsible for oversight of data intensive facility and fleet management systems Uses systems to respond to information requests; analyzes data and makes recommendations to the facility manager Physical Demands: Work is mostly sedentary in an office setting. At times, walking, hiking, climbing, bending and moderate lifting are required Work Environment: The work involves regular and recurring exposure to moderate risks and discomforts associated with the operation repair and maintenance of park infrastructure and equipment.
