The Role
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our vibrant Sydney office. Working across both the Planning and Environment and Finance teams, you will support two partners and their teams of approximately five talented senior associates, lawyers and graduates.
Whilst each day will be different, you will take on the following key duties:
- Secretarial support for general administrative tasks, including billing, inbox management;
- Brief preparation, court document drafting, amendment and management;
- Preparing lists of documents and other quasi paralegal duties;
- Proactive diary management and meeting coordination;
- Coordination of travel arrangements;
- File opening and general file management;
- Meeting coordination including preparing agendas;
- Undertaking due diligence searches and registrations on various platforms;
- Client cost reporting and management; and
- Working closely with the other Legal Assistants across the firm.
Experience
As the successful candidate, you will have prior experience as a Legal Assistant, with a strong desire to build your career in this space. You will have exceptional communication skills, impeccable attention to detail and a natural ability to manage competing priorities. Most importantly, you will take great pride in your work with the motivation to provide exceptional support to your authors.
