An exciting opening has arisen for a Sustainability Expert to join our Sustainability team in Italy, which is part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Market. This group consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about Environment, Health and Safety topics and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems.
Ramboll's professionals in Italy offer clients an enviable blend of technical, scientific and regulatory expertise in environmental sciences and engineering, energy and climate change, and health and safety. Our strong technical capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the social, economic and legal aspects of our clients' issues, and top-notch communication skills position us to identify, deliver and present innovative solutions. We support clients across a broad spectrum of issues, including environmental due diligence, investigation and remediation of contaminated land, impact assessment and permitting, mandatory compliance issues oversight, current performance improvement and future risk reduction, sustainability strategy and ESG assessments.
Your key responsibilities will be:·
- ESG advisory projects (e.g. ESG Strategy, Materiality assessments, Management system integrations,
- Energy and climate transition projects, including familiarity with national and international policies and scenarios for the decarbonisation;
- Climate Risk & Impact Assessment projects;
- ESG Due Diligence projects
- ESRS gap analysis and CSRD disclosure reporting
- Coordination of project teams/tasks on the above topics.

These include:
- Proven experience in consultancy and/or manufacturing/energy industry;
- Appropriate master’s degree (environmental engineering/environmental science/sustainable economics/etc.);
- Post-graduate study in sustainability matters and climate-energy transition will be considered as a plus;
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English both oral and written, third language will be considered as a plus.
