The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science in related field is required.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required, preferably in industry, with a stack testing company, or environmental consulting.
- Emission calculation experience is required.
- Familiar with stack testing equipment and agency-approved sampling/testing methods (e.g. Methods 3C, 6C, 7E, 10, 25A/B) and QA/QC is required.
- Knowledge of emission units associated with natural gas gathering, processing, and transmission, NGL processing, and liquid (crude and refined products) loading is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Candidate must exhibit exemplary organization skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The Environmental Engineer or Scientist will be a team member in the Air Compliance and Emissions (ACE) group within the Environmental Department and will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and optimizing a stack testing program. The hired employee will work at the Enterprise corporate office in Houston with ~30% travel requirements to Enterprise field assets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a stack testing database of all Enterprise process equipment (e.g. engines, turbines, heaters, flares, thermal oxidizers, etc.) that requires performance testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g. Field Environmental, Operations, Stack Test Vendors, Permitting) to ensure routine compliance tests are completed timely and following applicable regulations and/or permit requirements.
- Participate in the development and submittal of pretest protocols.
- Periodically witness stack tests performed at company assets and meet with regulators, as needed.
- Support upcoming electronic reporting of NSPS IIII/JJJJ and NESHAP ZZZZ stack test data to EPA.
- Act as a stakeholder in the workflow process for the review (QA/QC) of all stack test reports before submittal to regulatory agencies.
- Ability to review environmental regulations and air permits to identify testing and compliance requirements.
- Identify potential compliance risks and assist in the development of corrective actions.
- Manage costs and strategic spending with stack-testing vendors.
- Develop and track stack testing key performance indicators (KPI’s) and routinely present them to management.
