Join Our Team as an Associate
Skeo Solutions, Inc. is a small consulting firm that provides innovative and collaborative solutions to our primary clients in environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic opportunity. We are seeking an Associate to join our dynamic and talented team of professionals.
As an Associate, you will primarily support a variety of projects for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Examples of projects include Five-Year Reviews of Superfund cleanups; researching EPA site investigations and decision documents; writing technical memorandums, fact sheets, and other communication materials; and supporting EPA programs and initiatives. The ability to be highly responsive, meticulous, and capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial in this role.
Elements of this work may include:
Writing technical memorandums, fact sheets, and other communication materials related to site cleanups, contaminants or cleanup technologies

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geosciences, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of the physical, chemical, and biological processes that control the transport, migration, and potential impacts of hazardous waste to human health and the environment

Remote or in-office work: You can work remotely or join us at our Charlottesville, Virginia office. The right candidate may work remotely if located within two hours of a major airport. Candidates should generally be available during our operating hours of 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. However, hours may vary depending on time zone and client needs. Reduced work schedule options: While most positions are 40 hours, Skeo employees have the option to request to reduce their standard hours down to as little as 30 hours per week. This allows our employees to enjoy flexibility and increased balance harmony within their work and personal lives.
