We're looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary group in their plans for ambitious growth.
You'll be joining a high-performing, passionate commercial team, with the opportunity to work predominantly from home, anywhere in England (with London / South England being highly desirable).
What you'll be doing:
- Growing a new customer base, whilst exceeding your new business sales targets from your assigned geography/vertical
- Acquiring new clients and discovering new opportunities from a portfolio of services in existing clients through cross-selling activities.
- Bringing thought-leadership and innovation along with sales best practice to manage your new business pipeline
- Collaborating with marketing and bids teams on creating campaigns, initiatives and events that help generate new opportunity and position the business as partner of choice.

To be successful in this role you'll need:
- 2+ years experience in a sales / business development role hitting revenue targets in the high 6 figures.
- Experience selling service-based contracts in the environmental space - ideally ESG, ecology & environmental advisory, or geospatial / surveying. Hazardous materials, ground engineering, laboratory and radiation protection could also be of high interest.
- Knowledge of Challenger, SPIN, Miller Heiman, Sandler or similar sales techniques, along with experience in consultative selling.
- Knowledge of BANT or MEDDICC qualification techniques
- Familiar with CRM and forecasting systems along with back office tools/systems
- Willingness to travel throughout the country; full UK driving licence is essential
- Existing right to live and work in the UK
