DescriptionResource Innovations is seeking an Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, and Outreach Consultant to join our growing team in Denver/Louisville, CO. As an Energy Efficiency and Outreach Consultant with Resource Innovations, you will be responsible for enrolling customers into our various sustainability and energy efficiency programs within Resource Innovations’ Delivery business unit, and will work on energy efficiency program planning, delivery, and outreach with a focus on advising enrollees on how to make their business more efficient and environmentally friendly. Customers come to us because we are the experts, and we need to demonstrate that expertise in our outreach and deliverables.

Specific responsibilities will include performing energy efficiency assessments for utilities, governments, and end-use clients, conducting outreach to potential enrollees, managing/engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, and other related tasks. Candidates who have experience in the cannabis industry, conducting outreach and stakeholder engagement, and/or sustainability are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Outreach to potential program enrollees to be enrolled in our programs.
- Conduct energy efficiency assessments with engineering staff at customer sites as well as limited data analysis.
- Walk enrollees through the program enrollment process, from initial contact to the end of engagement.
- Develop rapport and network with relevant stakeholders, businesses, and other industry contacts.
- Identify and assist with the implementation of energy efficiency projects including project feasibility, rebate procurement, and follow up support.
- Ensure program goals are met.
- Support and assist with input for technical report writings; contribute to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations.
- Support senior staff with the development of presentations/reports and act as a flexible “jack of all trades” to meet client/program needs
- Assist with the administrative tasks and deliverables within our programs to meet goals.
- As a consultant, this role is very flexible in terms of what needs to be done day to day and you will need to be ready to take on any client side work that comes up.

Requirements - At least a 4 year equivalent degree in environmental science, sustainability, or energy (or work experience equaling a Bachelors) required; Masters in environmental management (or similar degree) preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience in the Cannabis Industry
- Experience in energy efficiency/sustainability
- Experience with outreach/sales and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of Demand Side Management programs
- Be a self-learner and independent worker
- Able to function with moderate oversight
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (salesforce experience is recommended but not required)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to be flexible and meet the needs of each client while properly prioritizing workload.
- Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills are mandatory.
- Excellent oral communication skills.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $70,000 - $95,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
