Position
As our Sustainability Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of Roll Group's sustainability strategy. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, you'll integrate sustainable practices across all aspects of our operations. Reporting directly to the management team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our sustainability policies and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- the environmental impact of our business activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- future landscape or development in regulations which could impact our business and support initiatives to record or address these requirements.
- sustainability reporting processes and preparing periodic reports for stakeholders.
- projects to reduce Roll Group's ecological footprint, focusing on energy efficiency, waste management, and emission reduction.
- partnerships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to advance sustainability objectives.
- cross company initiatives enabling the development of KPI’s which will ensure the company effectively track, monitor and act on key target data
- sustainability trends and integrating them into Roll Group's policies and practices.
- our vision and objectives are clearly defined and promote internal engagement to support our companies sustainability objectives.
- our company as a Subject Matter Expert for Sustainability related topics as required.
Your qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Vocational Education in Sustainability, (Technical) Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in sustainability management, preferably in the transportation or logistics sector.
- of international / European sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices especially EU regulations such as CSRD/ESRS.
- communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- track record of driving sustainability initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- to travel abroad.
- in English (both verbally and in writing).

Our selection process
