Responsabilities
1. T&I Documentation and Coordination
- Preparation and Review of Documentation:
- Support the Head of Technology Sustainable Fuels to create and review essential documentation. This includes Technology Roadmaps, Gate Meeting presentations, and consolidation of input from various stakeholders on specific SusFuel topics.
- Support for R&D Programs:
- Assist in coordinating and supporting review activities for SusFuel R&D programs. This involves activities such as preparing monthly Flash Reports review meetings, facilitating quarterly review meetings with Business Lines (BL) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and contributing to R&D days.
2. Early Engagement and Commercial Support
- Meeting Preparation and Support:
- Work closely with the BL2 Head of Market for Susfuels and the Head of Technology of T&I to prepare for early engagement meetings. These meetings often involve first-time contacts and require proactive organization.
- Responsibilities include slide preparation, meeting logistics, presentation of content and follow-up actions.
- Autonomously manage dedicated scopes related to early engagement activities.
3. Scouting Support and Market Intelligence
- Technology Scouting:
- Collaborate in dedicated exercices (e.g. technologies deep dives) to scout for technologies relevant to TEN in the field of SusFuels. Conduct internet searches, background research, and initial discussions to evaluate potential technologies.
- Market Intelligence:
- Maintain a competitive intelligence tracker, monitoring developments in the sustainable fuels market, identifying emerging technologies and technical challenges relevant to sustainable fuels.
- Evaluate market reports and prepare summaries for T&I and BL stakeholders.
- Engage with industry experts, research publications and conferences to stay informed.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Technical Background and skills:
- The candidate should have a technical background, ideally with around 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in process design or in technology and/or product development in an international environment.
- The candidate should show capabilities to analyse and identify opportunities and threats of a technology landscape.
- The ability to synthetize diverse perspectives into actionable actions is a plus.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong communication and client facing skills are essential. The candidate should be able to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Personality Traits:
- Curious, open-minded, and eager to learn beyond technology.
- Motivated by the opportunity to meet the challenges associated with a fast-moving international service business operating in a highly competitive market.
- Likes and easily engages with internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting line, relationships and Peers
- The Sustainable Fuels T&I Manager will be fully integrated into T&I Susfuels activities.
- Operational and hierarchical reporting to the VP, Head of Technology- Refining and Sustainable Fuels.
- Key relationships include:
- Head of Market BL2 SusFuels
- Strategy and scouting teams
- Other T&I SFCC Heads of Technology and T&I VPs
- Technology and R&D teams in Operating Centers
