Role Responsibilities:
- Prospecting
- Gathering accurate and detailed account information.
- Establish an open line of communication with customers, vendors and co-workers.
- Meet weekly sales activities, which include a number of calls, visits, proposals, and travel days.
- Establish a team relationship with your Account & Logistics Coordinator
- Identify areas in which Quincy Farm Products can establish a profitable relationship with customers and vendors.
- Strengthen a relationship, which leads to additional opportunities for the organization.
- Increase company tonnage, gross margin, and vendors
- Ability to generate process improvement ideas
- Customer/ vendor satisfaction
- Reduces the sales cycle and company hours
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
Position Requirements & Keys to Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field
- 10-15 years in manufacturing, production in management or operations- Food industry preferrable but not required.
- Ability for up to 50% overnight travel
- Current & Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Experience with CRM tools preferred
