Job Summary:
The Creative UX Designer and Strategist will support our lead designer for No Sleep Studio, serving as a key supplement to the design team. This role involves assisting with basic UX designs while strategically enhancing the creative outputs produced. Responsibilities include content hierarchy, copy production aligned with strategic recommendations and brand voice, streamlining web DAM, and enhancing creative processes across NSS and LSG teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Execute UX design and strategy across various client projects, including creating wireframes and prototypes in Figma.
Integrate CRO strategies to enhance web design, with a focus on improving conversion rates for e-commerce clients.
Develop creative copywriting aligned with brand voice and strategic goals, ensuring all content is engaging and tailored for the target audience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and content creators, to ensure seamless design implementation.
Create strategic design assets such as banners, product images, and promotional graphics.
Streamline creative SOPs and workflows to improve efficiency and maintain design consistency.
Guide the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior and optimize the user journey.
Understand product specifications, user psychology, and predict effective design solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce markets.
Support the lead designer in designing site builds and landing pages on Figma, ensuring they are visually appealing and functionally effective.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
Manage and organize digital assets and design files for easy access and collaboration.
Assist in creating and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all client projects.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with website copywriting.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Dynamic and flexible team player with strong communication skills.
Experience with agile methodology (preferred).
Previous brand experience in the CPG space (preferred).
Familiarity with Atomic UI design libraries and principles.
Strong skills in user experience (UX) design.
Content creation and storytelling abilities, with a knack for crafting engaging narratives that align with brand strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends.
A portfolio showcasing relevant design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Experience or knowledge of feedback and QA processes.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency with industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma.
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Capability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
High attention to detail and mastery of information design.
Basic video editing skills with Adobe Premiere
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus and the ability to collaborate with developers for seamless design implementation.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position with occasional team bonding excursions. The candidate must be able to work diligently and reliably from a remote environment and be open to company meet-ups to enhance engagement.
