JOB PURPOSE:
The Regional Branch Manager is accountable for the safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance of a region of 2 or more branch locations. The Regional Branch Manager will develop and lead a high-performing team whose fundamental role is order fulfillment. A successful Regional Branch Manager will build collaborative working relationships with other Managers in all regions and key partners across the organization's central functions. This position reports directly to the General Manager. The role requires regular in-person branch visits to oversee daily functions while managing a team of Operations Managers and other supervisory roles at each branch.

- The total compensation for this role is $100k-$105k. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Management (20%)
- Leads the branch team through change, maintaining a positive & motivational environment to foster growth.
- Works with Operations Manager to hire & develop new members of the branch team as needed.
- Oversees the scheduling of shifts done by the Operations Manager and ensure employee's hours are reported correctly to payroll.
- Monitors employee performance through regular weekly 1-1 check-ins and 360 performance reviews.
- Handles disciplinary actions as needed in alignment with all company policies.
- Attends monthly branch meetings with the full branch team.
- Has a regular cadence of meeting with the Operations Managers.
- Inventory Health (25%)
- Monitors demand trends in the branch service area through evaluation of product run rates and sales forecasts, to know future volume and plan for it.
- Reviews forecasting data for trends and accuracy.
- Ensure allocation management is held within company policy and any future allocation is responsibly held or shifted to reflect inbound PO's.
- Monitors product purchasing for the branch by reviewing purchase order reports on a daily and weekly basis to balance customer demand and on hand inventory
- Evaluates the supply/demand balance and collaborates directly with the Procurement team to make purchasing adjustments as needed.
- Places purchase orders with specific vendors if/when needed.
- Works with central and regional teams to maintain a healthy DIO by branch and when needed put particular focus on reduction of Excess & Aging inventory to reduce financial risk.
- Financial Performance (25%)
- Participates in planning of branch budget and manages the branch P&L profitably.
- Evaluates local branch vendors as needed and makes sound decisions on where to allocate branch resources.
- Monitors and approves all branch expenses.
- Ensures that equipment and people of the branch are managed in the most cost-effective manner.
- Holds team accountable for maintaining accurate inventory in order to prevent loss from inventory shrink.
- Safety Compliance Standards (10%)
- Ensures that employee safety is Priority #1 and that the branch culture promotes this.
- Holds Operations Managers accountable for safety scores and ensures they consult with EH&S Manger to maintain safety goals and a safe work environment.
- Ensures all incidents are reported and recorded immediately.
- Ensures all safety practices and standards are complied with, including OSHA & DOT regulations.
- Ensures that the building is safe and secure, including fully operational intrusion & video monitoring systems.
- Maintains a “Zero Incident” safety mentality.
- Responsible for conducting facility audits and ensuring any audit follow-up items are completed promptly.
- Ensures all warehouse employees attend and complete safety training courses and certifications on time.
- Warehouse & Logistics (10%)
- Ensures that the warehouse team adheres to company processes to ensure quality performance in all areas of warehousing: receiving, storage, inventory movement, cycle counting, packaging, and order processing.
- Directs the safe & effective use of the warehouse space, including racking, equipment, & supplies, and makes adjustments as necessary to optimize throughput.
- Oversees efficient use of company fleet and ensures that the fleet is maintained according to company standards.
- Maintains a relationship with the property manager and ensures all agreements in the lease are being followed on site (ie – HVAC maintenance).
- Learning and Development (10%)
- Mandatory participation in company leadership meetings & weekly People Manager Training series.
- Participation in special projects, cross-functional working groups & sprints as opportunities arise.
- Participation in weekly Learning is Fun meetings, Baytalk meetings, and Virtual Coffee Breaks.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Utilizes a variety of reports and searches in NetSuite to monitor branch metrics, progress and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Trained and certified to operate a forklift. Operate the forklift and performs other operations and warehouse duties as needed to ensure that the work gets done.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in business or operations in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Minimum of 3 years’ people management and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and deliver key financial results.
- Demonstrated proficiency and deep understanding of CRMs (preferably NetSuite or Salesforce).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead
- Regularly required to lift up to 50lbs
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Oversee day to day people management of designated branches, which includes weekly 1:1s, goal setting, upskilling of employees, providing or finding mentorship for growth opportunities and overseeing performance management.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to travel up to 30% of time.
